Outreach will primarily focus on men who are gay-identified as well as city-wide locations to reach target population. As needed, operate HIV AIDS hotline and connect callers with local area resources and support. Help in the preparation and implementation of special events and community programs. Educate community about HIV/AIDS resources and support. Assist Prevention staff with preparation of educational materials. Assist staff with data entry as needed.

Volunteer Services Program Assistant
Assist the Volunteer Services Coordinator with major projects, including but not limited to: volunteer survey distribution, collection and analysis; calculating monthly hours of volunteer service and generating reports. Candidate will also assist with volunteer recruitment and support for special events and fundraisers. Candidate will provide support for all of these activities. Assist with volunteer application process, including interviewing applicants, sending referrals to appropriate paid staff contacts, and implementing follow-up procedures. Provide volunteer training support at a quarterly General Volunteer Training sessions. Collaborate with Coordinator of Volunteer Services to research, plan, and facilitate volunteer management technical assistance training for paid staff.
