Scholarship Programs

Applying for Scholarships

How to Apply

  1. The priority deadline to file the FAFSA is February 15, 2013. If you file the FAFSA, you will automatically be considered for all need-based aid: university-administered scholarships, grants, work-study, and loans. The FAFSA is required for these programs and is recommended for all programs.
  2. The online Application for Special Scholarships 2013-2014 priority application date is February 15, 2013 for all students.
You login to the scholarship application with your Ohio State Username.
  3. Contact your college office or visit the college website for additional scholarship opportunities. Students attending Lima, Mansfield, Marion, Newark, or ATI should contact their individual financial aid office directly to learn about scholarships offered at those campuses.

  4. Students interested in external scholarships should follow the instructions for each scholarship listed to apply for that aid.

Because funds are limited, you will not necessarily receive funds from a scholarship for which you might otherwise be eligible. Every effort is made to distribute available scholarship funds to as many students as possible.
