Student community service opportunities

Federal Work-Study Off-Campus Community Service jobs are a great way to network with the larger Columbus community, and apply what you're learning in the classroom to real life situations.

These are jobs funded solely by the Federal Work-Study (FWS) program with approved non-profit and government agencies.  Students working in these positions are considered Ohio State employees through the Office of Student Financial Aid, however the worksite is with the agency.

Hiring for the 2025-26 academic year is now closed.

A big Thank You to everyone who participated! Job opportunities for the 2026-27 academic year that include summer will be listed here as we confirm agency participation for the upcoming year.
