Here you will find all the tools needed to get to work! Most questions can be answered by reading your Federal Work-Study Student Employee Manua​l​​​​.

Important things to know

  • You cannot work when you are scheduled to be in class, including online classes.

  • You can work a maximum of 20 hours a week during the term.

  • You must be enrolled at least half time in order to work.

  • You must work for the hours you are paid.

  • Enter your hours in your department's time tracking system each time you work and submit your timesheet at the end of each week. Students are paid bi-weekly.

  • Your work-study offer will not pay your tuition or housing costs directly.

  • Receipt of work-study funding is contingent upon meeting financial aid and enrollment criteria, therefore should not be used as a sole source of income.  ​
