Ohio State makes it easy to find and apply for college-funding opportunities with ScholarshipUniverse. A single source for many Ohio State and external scholarships, ScholarshipUniverse uses self-reported information to match you with relevant scholarship opportunities.
By letting ScholarshipUniverse do most of the work for you, you can focus on applying for more scholarships to help pay for your education and avoid taking on debt.

To find your matches, follow these simple steps:
Once you apply for admission to Ohio State and get your OSU username (name.#) and password, create your ScholarshipUniverse account. To protect your information, you first must accept Ohio State's privacy policy.
Click Tell Us About Yourself at the top of the home page and answer as many questions as you can. The relevant information from your Ohio State application and academic record (GPA, major, etc.) will automatically be added to your profile. Some questions might not apply to you, but no worries. Skip them or come back later.
Once you submit some answers, ScholarshipUniverse will show you your matches. Internal matches (Ohio State scholarships) are indicated with a university icon and external matches with a globe icon. Keep in mind, there are over 10,000 vetted external scholarships within ScholarshipUniverse. Answer more matching questions or view matches.
Some Ohio State scholarships may require additional information. Just click on the apply button for details. To apply for external scholarships that you match, click the apply button and fill out the additional application. Note: Ohio State WILL NOT transfer any student information to third-party sites.
ScholarshipUniverse allows you to edit or update information up to the point of submission. Be sure your applications are complete and up to date before you submit. Once submitted, applications are locked and applied only to the upcoming academic year. See application dates and deadlines.
Once you have submitted your applications, you can keep track of your status – or try for more matches – by logging in to your personalized dashboard.

Tips for success
All students, regardless of program or rank, should create or update a ScholarshipUniverse account at least once a year by the priority date. Remember to file your FAFSA, too.
Take the time to answer questions about yourself and complete required applications to maximize scholarship opportunities.
